Following on the heels of Dell's announcement that it will begin selling the Surface Pro 3 to business and enterprise customers, HP will be doing the same thing as part of Microsoft's new Surface Enterprise Initiative.
HP did not offer a time frame for when its sales of Microsoft's 12-inch tablet will begin. Dell has already announced it will begin selling Surface Pro 3 tablets and accessories to the US and Canada in early October.
HP added:
"Independently, we will also be offering a new set of HP Care Packs designed specifically to help customers to plan, configure, deploy and manage in enterprise environments. We also plan to offer some mobility workflow transformation tools and services that will be available next year."
While HP may be selling the Surface Pro 3, it also strongly hinted it will offer new Windows 10 2-in-1 products of its own in the near future, adding that we should "continue to watch this space" for more information.
